Bio

Shannon Hilsey is Project Coordinator for the Building Efficiency Initiative at World Resources Institute, within the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Ms. Hilsey provides support for the SE4ALL Building Efficiency Accelerator (BEA) and other building efficiency projects. Prior to joining WRI, Ms. Hilsey worked as International Economic Relations Program Coordinator at the American University School of International Service. She holds an M.A. in International Affairs from American University, as well as a B.A. in Government from Cornell University.

Bio

Dr. Peter Graham has been the Technical Advisor and past Coordinator of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative where he has developed and managed many of UNEP’s key projects and publications in the building sector. He comes to the GBPN from a position as Head of Discipline for Architecture & Design at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. In these roles Peter worked closely with the public, civil, and private sectors to assist the global transition to a sustainable building and construction industry.

Brian Dean has 25 years of experience in energy efficiency and has supported governments and organizations globally with energy efficiency policies and projects. Brian is the Head of Energy Efficiency and Cooling at Sustainable Energy for All and was previously an official at the International Energy Agency where he was the lead for Energy Efficiency in Buildings. Prior to joining the IEA, Brian was head of Energy Efficiency Policy and Analytics at ICF International and has an education in engineering, architecture and political science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ksenia Petrichenko is a Senior Advisor at the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency (C2E2). Ksenia provides analytical support to Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) initiative through: research on energy efficiency and renewable best-practices, provision of technical support to targeted countries, analysis of technological pathways till 2030 and collaboration with various organisations on accelerating energy efficiency actions with a particular focus on Building Efficiency Accelerator. Prior to joining C2E2 Ksenia worked in different expert roles with Global Performance Network (GBPN), Central European University and Eco Ltd. on international projects mainly focused on energy efficiency potential and policies in the building sector. She has a PhD degree in Environmental Sciences from Central European University, as well as MSc in Environmental Sciences and MA in Economics in the Energy Sector.
