Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency
WHERE WE WORK
FILTER BY
The Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency works to engage national and subnational governments to accelerate energy efficiency implementation, in line with global Sustainable energy objectives. Many developing world governments are motivated to act on energy efficiency, therefore the Copenhagen Centre can help with the capacity to realise their energy efficiency ambitions, and to develop projects that would be able to attract investments and generate actual energy savings.
With a focus on the most rollout-ready energy end-use sectors, namely buildings, district heating and cooling, water supply and lighting, the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency assists with project analysis, technology procurement, investment models, best-practice knowledge and research.
The Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency works to accelerate energy efficiency programs in cities and countries through three activities:
- Activating the knowledge base to assess energy efficiency potential and opportunities
- Developing public-private implementation projects available to attract the necessary finance
- Replicating and communicating success
