Under the umbrella of Sustainable Energy for All Global Energy Efficiency Accelerator Platform, the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency (C2E2) in collaboration with the World Resource Institute (WRI) is hosting a no-cost, webinar-based training on available analytical tools that can help cities, subnational governments and local stakeholders in accelerating energy efficiency actions in the building sector.
This is the third event in the webinar series devoted to analytical tools initiated in support of the Building Efficiency Accelerator, led by WRI. Other related webinars can be found here.
The focus of this webinar is on policy and project implementation and the role available online tools and resources can play in assisting local policy-makers in this process.
This webinar will focus on three online resources:
- ICLEI Solutions Gateway, which presents a database of generic solutions for low-carbon development based on proven technologies and city-level good practices.
- C40 Good Practice Guides, a collection of guides and case studies from cities on good practice for climate change actions, including energy efficiency in buildings.
- The International Finance Corporation’s EDGE Tool, which offers assistance on designing energy efficient buildings and estimates energy savings from a range of measures.
