Ksenia Petrichenko is a Senior Advisor at the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency (C2E2). Ksenia provides analytical support to Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) initiative through: research on energy efficiency and renewable best-practices, provision of technical support to targeted countries, analysis of technological pathways till 2030 and collaboration with various organisations on accelerating energy efficiency actions with a particular focus on Building Efficiency Accelerator. Prior to joining C2E2 Ksenia worked in different expert roles with Global Performance Network (GBPN), Central European University and Eco Ltd. on international projects mainly focused on energy efficiency potential and policies in the building sector. She has a PhD degree in Environmental Sciences from Central European University, as well as MSc in Environmental Sciences and MA in Economics in the Energy Sector.

Debbie Weyl is the Manager, Building Efficiency with the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She manages the Building Efficiency Accelerator, a global partnership to accelerate building energy efficiency in cities around the world. Prior to WRI, Debbie worked for 5 years at CLASP to improve globally the environmental and energy performance of appliances, lighting and equipment, and for 2 years at the U.S. Department of Energy on energy efficiency programs in the United States.

Nate Aden is a Research Fellow with the World Resources Institute. Nate conducts interdisciplinary research focused on industrial sector emissions reductions, methods to align company GHG targets with ambitious climate scenarios, and the role of buildings in low-carbon cities.

Zoe Sprigings serves as the Head of the Energy Initiative at C40. She is responsible for delivering C40’s global energy strategy, including oversight of the energy efficiency and district energy networks. Prior to joining C40, Zoe was a Senior Policy Adviser in the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) of the UK Government.

Frances Downy manages the Private Building Efficiency Network at C40, where she works with cities to accelerate implementation of energy efficiency measures in private sector buildings. Prior to C40, she worked at the Energy Saving Trust and chaired a working group for EU member state governments on implementation the RES Directive.

Bio

Ommid Saberi is Senior Green Buildings Industry Specialist in the IFC Climate Business Department based in Washington DC. The technical side of the voluntary EDGE online certification system are part of Ommid's responsibilities along with working on EDGE green building certification of projects globally. Before joining IFC, Ommid had extensive experience advising on sustainability strategies for property development projects in the UK, Middle East and Asia. He led the Sustainability and Energy team in WSP for the Middle East. Ommid is an architect and building physicist with fourteen years of experience on sustainable design and practice. He has led many design and research teams and advised on the green building codes of three countries. Ommid has also been a member of regional government advisory panels as an expert in low energy designs and technical director for energy conservation at the city scale. More generally Ommid has experience working with companies in the private, public and governmental sectors which has given him a wide understanding of environmental and sustainability challenges.
