This event will present the draft Sustainable Development tool for assessing sustainable development impacts of mitigation actions. The draft of the tool was developed based on a decision by the Article 6.4 Supervisory Body prior to COP28.
The vent invites stakeholder views on:
- Robustness and reliability of the safeguards,
- Minimum requirements to promote positive SDG impacts,
- The usefulness of the tool for host and acquiring parties, and Needs for capacity building.
