Mainstreaming climate change for policy, strategy and planning in Moldova

The project supports enhancing the technical and institutional capacities of Moldovan key national public institutions for mainstreaming climate change into sectoral strategies, policies, and plans, and for mobilizing resources to achieve both its updated NDC and long-term LEDS (Low Emission Development Strategy) goals. Moldova has recently updated its NDC and is aligning it with its National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), creating an urgent need to build capacity across ministries such as Environment, Energy, Infrastructure, and Agriculture.
