Measuring Uganda's Climate Vulnerabilities
Climate change in Uganda is predicted to cause temperature rise and to make rainfall seasonality more erratic, including changes in onset, duration and intensity punctuated with intra-seasonal dry spells, which are expected to further increase climate vulnerabilities and risks. To respond to those risks, the Government of Uganda communicated its NDC in 2016 with adaptation as priority to the UNFCCC Secretariat in accordance with decision 1/CP.21 on adoption of the Paris Agreement.
