The main objective of this project was to propose and design an improved national system for Monitoring Reporting and Verification (MRV) to support the implementation of mitigation actions, and other support received in the Maldives. UNEP DTU Partnership provided an analysis of the existing reporting mechanisms and institutional arrangements for data collection and protocols to determine emission reductions as well as the MRV of financial support received and spent towards the implementation of mitigation actions.
